GENERAL


Q: Where is Rock the South located?

A: 1705 Lee Ave SW, Cullman, AL 35055

Q: Where are the gates located?

A: Main Entrance is located off of Lee Avenue just West of Lowe's.

Q: Will I be searched coming into the festival?

A: Every bag and person will be searched coming into the festival.

Q: Can I leave and come back?

A: All tickets are non-transferable. No re-entry. Plenty to do all day! Come early. Stay late!

Q: Can I bring an umbrella or tent for shade?

A: No-tents and umbrellas are not allowed as they cause obstructed views, but we welcome ponchos and rain jackets!

Q: Can I bring a blanket for seating?

A: YES!

Q: Do you provide seating?

A: Only in the VIP and Platinum areas will we provide seating. No chairs will be allowed in these sections. General Admission patrons are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets for seating. Chairs will not be provided in the General Admission section.

Q: Will I be able to see the stage?

A: Not only will the stage be bigger, Rock the South will have HUGE LED walls on either side so EVERYBODY can see what is going on all the time!

Q: What am I allowed to bring into the festival?

A: No food or beverage carry-ins allowed. You may bring lawn chairs and blankets. All persons are subject to search at entry gates. All weapons are prohibited.

Q: Will there be ATM's on-site?

A: YES, Rock the South will have 12 ATM's scattered across the property!

Q: Can I bring my pet?

A: No.

Q: Are there any hotels in the area?

A: Refer to the HOTELS section of our website.

TICKETS


Q: Where can I purchase tickets?

A: Tickets can be purchased through the Rock the South on the tickets page.

Q: Can I use my two-day ticket Friday and someone else use it Saturday?

A: All tickets are non-transferable. When you arrive on Friday, you get a wristband that will become your ticket for Saturday. Do not take the wristband off!

Q: I bought my ticket online and have not received it:

A: All online tickets are emailed to you and printed off at home. If you did not receive your tickets in an email or have lost or accidentally deleted your email please contact Rock the South customer support at [email protected]

Q: What is the refund policy on ticket purchases?

A: All sales are non-refundable. Service Fees are non-refundable. If the event cancels or postpones to a later date, the price of your ticket will be refunded, the price of your ticket will be refunded, but the service fees are non-refundable.

Q: Are children allowed at the concerts?

A: Children are allowed; however, we recommend parental discretion as the event does allow alcohol consumption. Children 2 and under are free, children age 3 and up are full price.

Q: Will tickets be available at door?

A: If there is still availability – YES! Cash and Credit only at the door.

PARKING


Q: What about handicap parking?

A: YES-The main lot of Heritage Park will be reserved for handicap parking. You must display the proper permit to park in these spots.

Q: What if I have not received my VIP parking pass?

A: Please email [email protected] and we will void your pass and send you a new one.

Q: Can I leave my car parked overnight in the VIP parking lot?

A: Absolutely! Just make sure the pass stays with the car!

Q: What time does the VIP lot open?

A: 8:00a.m. Friday and Saturday

FOOD AND DRINK


Q: Can I bring my own cooler or my own food or drinks?

A: No-Rock the South will have over 25 food and beverage vendors. From the best barbecue in the South to hamburgers to lemonade to Greek Food, Rock the South has you covered!

Q: What is the alcoholic beverage policy?

A: Beer and Liquor will be available throughout the festival!

Q: Do any of the vendors take plastic?

A: Some of the food vendors will take credit cards but all of our beverage tents (beer/soda) will only take cash. However, ATM's will be spread across the entire property!

Q: Where are the ATM locations?

A: ATMs can be found throughout the festival grounds. ATMs are also located inside the Main Gate and other festival locations.

SAFTEY AND SECURITY


Q: Who should I tell if I see a problem?

A: Rock the South will have a very large security contingent on-site. If you see an issue, please notify any of our security officers from Event Operations Group or police officers from the Cullman Police Department, Cullman County Sherriff’s Department or Alabama State Troopers.

Q: Will there be first aid on-site?

A: Absolutely! The Cullman Fire Department and Cullman County EMS do an incredible job of keeping all of our attendees safe!

Q: What if I lose my child?

A: There will be a lost children’s tent staffed by the Cullman Police Department right next to the main Medical Tent.

Q: What do you do in case of inclement weather?

A: All shows are rain or shine. In the event of serious weather, announcements will be made from the stage. Remember, tents are NOT considered safe cover in serious weather conditions. Rock the South is an outdoor festival. No refunds are allowed for weather-related delays or same-day postponements

Q: What is the weather policy?

A: Weather-Related Evacuation Policy: Rock the South is rain or shine, however in the incident of severe weather that includes lightning, hail or life-threatening elements, festival attendees, volunteers, sponsors, and vendors as well as their employees, will be evacuated as decided solely by Emergency Medical Services (EMS). We work closely with meteorologists and our local EMS to coordinate the best possible timing and announcement of a weather-related evacuation. We also coordinate with them on-site during the evacuation to plan for the quickest and easiest way to continue the festival. Q: How do I obtain a media pass?

A: Please visit our press page and fill out the media application.

Q: What is allowed inside the park?

A: Chairs (except if in VIP/Plat), Towels, Hats, Medicine (in approved containers), Cameras, Backpacks (Medium)
